I don't know the original writer, but I love this poem so I thought I'd share... ^.^
When I Was Five
I was wise when I was five I'd figured out my life I knew exaactly what I'd be Teacher, doctor, wife I knew how many cats I'd have And what I'd name my hosre And how I'd wear my hair (In a ponytail, of course). The world was like a stage to me I loved to play the parts! Curtain up! Light the lights! I knew my lines by heart. But when I became a teen My life stopped making sense. The lights went out, the curtain fell I lost my confidence. And now I only know one thing Here behind my curtain: I'm absolutely sure that I'm totally uncertain It's weird that I am less assured At 14 than at five. All I wonder now is, Will my curtain ever rise?

Is it in English? If not, can you translate it and post it either as a repy or as a new post? I'm now very curious to read this one...
