To Kris
Life is seldom simple, Yet simple is always complex. You’ve reminded me that madness is not bad, You have shown me that even the divine are mad. I thought you would tell me no, When I asked if you would be willing to be more. You were a stranger who became a friend. You were a friend who became a lover. You are a lover who has become a part of me. The Greeks spoke of soul mates but I did not know it true, And then I found you. You never laugh at me when I feel as if I shall cry, You always hold me up when I really want to die. You believe in me as no one else has done, And you are always willing to try and teach me the true meaning of fun. I told you in a letter that I love you, And feared you would tell me no. But you did not. You mean everything to me and always will. You are the one to who my secrets spill. If you told me to jump off a cliff, I’d ask how you wished me to dive. If I could show you how much I truly felt, I would fill the whole sky.

My Computer decided to pull a Bellatrix and signed me out as I was posting this. Therefore this poem is mine.
